The Acer Aspire One AOD250 comes with a SATA hard drive. To run Windows 7 on an Acer netbook, you must install the SATA device driver during the setup process, as Windows 7 doesn’t have inherent SATA support. If you attempt to install Windows 7 without loading the SATA driver beforehand, the Windows 7 installation CD will fail to detect the drive.
